Semi-automatic and automatic case taping machines are a game-changer in any operation where a large number of cartons need to be sealed top and bottom in a busy packing operation. Hand-fed machines are suitable for short or long runs of consistently-sized cases. An advanced option is a fully automatic random case sealer, which is capable of detecting various box sizes and sealing the top and bottom of the carton simultaneously. Two tape heads apply self-adhesive tape to the top and bottom of the case and the length is automatically adjusted. The bottom drive design makes is easy to mount a wide range of labellers or printers to the machine itself to reduce space and cost otherwise caused by installing an extra process.
